Magdalena Brzoska

Hi Everyone!

My name is Magdalena Brzoska but I also go by Magda. I am a grade 4 teacher living and working in a remote First Nations community located in Northern Ontario. 

This is my second year working as a full-time teacher. Last year I worked at the same school teaching grade 7. Prior to being an educator I worked in the Corporate Finance sector in Toronto for about 8 years. I often volunteered my time during vacations to be a camp counsellor for Camp Oochigeas which is a non-profit organization that gives children with cancer the chance to have a camp experience with their peers. This was a major motivating factor for my decision to become a teacher.

As for my educational background I have a Bachelor of Journalism (Ryerson University), Project Management Diploma (Ryerson University) and my Bachelor of Education (Redeemer University College). I am able to teach grade 4-10 and my teachable is English.
