Anishinaabemowin Introductory Resource

Booshoo/Hello!

First of all, this project could not have been started without the incredible support of my friends, colleagues and students from Pikangikum First Nations. It is because of these amazing individuals that I came up with an idea to not only help me better learn the Ojibway language in order to be a better and more understanding teacher, but to be a part of Indigenous Language revitalization. It is because of the  learning I received from the above mentioned individuals that helped create this document. Thank you for the bottom of my heart.

This project is not finished. Let me repeat that. It is NOT finished! Deciding to undertake such an assignment, I knew that this document would not only not be "completed" by the due date but that it will continue to evolve, grow and flourish with the collaboration of other educators and community members from all over the country.

Undertaking the project was only 7 weeks. I can only imagine how things will grow in the future with the collaboration of many minds. Please take the time to read my Abstract, the"Final Project" and the Disclaimer below. I appreciate any feedback pertaining to adding specific words that pertain to the Pikangikum dialect of the Ojibway language.

Miigwech/Thank you,
