Self Regulation re safeTALK

I've been finding it difficult to read all the materials that I've selected for my Inquiry Project. Perhaps I've added too many new pieces of literature to my goal list. I think the best course of action is to cut down on a coupe of the resources so that read the positive impacts of safeTALK training (so I can remind the participants).

In addition, I will be making sure that I provide the staff and/or community members the contact information for online support groups that they can refer people to or hotlines. Sometimes that is the best option for remote locations where there is literally few mental health professionals that are able to meet the demands of so many people.

Just an FYI. It should be known that having thoughts of suicide does not mean that someone has a mental illness. Sometimes suicidal ideations are a result of mental illness but suicide in itself is not a mental health disorder nor does someone have to have a mental health issue in order to die by suicide. Sometimes a traumatic event can cause a spontaneous suicide where it can happen within a matter of minutes. (This is info is a primary source because I learned it from safeTALK, and counsellors)
